Jack and Jill Live on a Hill – Part 3

More updates on the restoration of Jack and Jill’s 1898 Ibach ¾ grand piano.

The veneer for the lid has arrived, been bonded to the piano lid and had its first coat of ebony.

The music stand carving and veneer has been repaired and has the first polish coats on; and all the leg components/turnings and pedal mechanism are nearing final polish.

The main body is almost finished and the pictures do it no justice! The grain character sneaking through is amazing.
