Jenny’s French writers’ desk

The detail in this desk is simply stunning. The timber inlay boggles the mind, its design must have come from Salvador Dalí s ancestors! Quite stunning.

Can you believe that Jenny’s home was broken into, and the thieves used screwdrivers to pry open the doors and drawers, ruining all the delicate inlay, etc.? The funny part is that the keys for each compartment were clearly placed on the top of the desk at the time, so no guesses for the IQ level of the thief!

Happy ending though – now better than it was before the incident with new inlay and a full repolish.
