Pam’s French writers desk

Pam’s French writers desk had been badly water damaged. The artwork had faded (almost not recognisable) and the polish was coming off everywhere. We only work on what’s repairable and leave the authenticity alone. Chalky to touch, plaster falling off, etc. The drawers no longer rode in or out and the drawer bases had delaminated. Pretty sure she’s going to be suitably impressed with the job and fine detail work we’ve done. It’s going to take pride of place in her daughters’ room.
