Barry’s coffee table

Barry’s grandfather grew up in the great depression. As a boy, he worked at a furniture factory and he used to gather up any scraps and offcuts he was allowed to and take them home. Although he remained unqualified for the duration of his time there, he watched and learned and he created things to give to his wife and to make a happy home.

A generation and a half later, his grandson has recovered some pieces and this small coffee table is about the best example of his work that was still able to be restored.
