Well, Christmas is nearly upon us again and the age old request is coming at us thick and fast: “Can you have it done for us before Christmas?”
We are going full speed while projects are wide and varied. We’re currently working on two kitchens – one in suburban Brisbane and one on an island just off Brisbane. I know which one the boys are enjoying more but they’re both equally as rewarding.
One of the kitchen renovations we’ve completed this month is over on a bay island, so a great time of year to be visiting and it makes work a little more bearable!! (as if it’s not fun enough)
Made from Silver ash some solid & some veneer panelling, the black in the background is Italian marble and the white in the foreground is white marble. Pretty classy finish once all the trades had completed their various tasks.
Here is the teak Bali day bed we restored for the client while we were there. The picture is actually more about the view! And this is from the lower deck!! Simply a beautiful home and a great client.
For our second kitchen renovation, here are before shots of the solid Tasmanian oak kitchen that we’re about to start work on. This is a classic case of most mainstream cabinet makers getting scared off by the way traditional old timber tends to have a bit of a ‘mind of its own’ before, during and after renovations and modifications.
We’re working on some new stone tops, new appliances and a general freshen up with re-polishing and re-jointing of all the timber joinery. Watch this space!!
As a bonus: Here is glimpse of some of other projects we are working on to show how incredibly diverse our guys are and how, in this strange economic business phase we seem to be going through, we are remaining very busy and enjoying an ever widening contact base and ever increasing list of satisfied clients. Stay tuned as we post updates on these projects. WTS!
One of two wood cut-outs that will be used as mascots for a new hair salon, which will be called “Bambi & Bear.”
An antique bedroom chair due for new soft fabric & some style love!
One of two additional pieces that a very satisfied and impressed customer wants us to restore.
