Margaret’s chairs

Margaret came to us with 2 very sad old sitting chairs. They have been in her family for more than 60 years. Her children talked her into having them restored and when we delivered them yesterday, she almost did not recognise them.

When she sat in them with their new springs and soft leather, she asked us to make a start on 3 other pieces she’s been holding onto that need restoring. 2 beds and a table.

It seems to be how things go with Renowned furniture. We get a job to restore something old & special, we complete the job, the customer is blown away by the quality & finish and they find more pieces for us to do one after the other.
